What We’re Looking For
Rural Action Derbyshire is recruiting an experienced and motivated Rural Community Development Officer will support and engage rural communities across Derbyshire, focusing on affordable housing initiatives and sustainable community development. The role involves raising awareness of rural housing opportunities, guiding communities through housing needs assessments, and supporting feasibility studies. It also includes managing community building initiatives and delivering sustainability programmes. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with proven community development experience, capable of building partnerships with local stakeholders and fostering resilient, inclusive rural communities through innovative engagement approaches.
