The Provider Hub is a source of updates, information, advice and resources.

Introduction

As part of the Feeding Derbyshire Network, we’re providing the Provider Hub to help support Provider Members operating food projects across Derbyshire, including food banks, community pantries, shops, kitchens, and cafés. By working together, the network is stronger and more effective. The Hub offers a growing selection of downloadable resources — from third‑party advice from trusted partners to practical paperwork, leaflets, brochures, and more — helping providers deliver consistent, high‑quality food support.

Feeding Derbyshire Network Webinar Resources

Throughout 2025, Feeding Derbyshire ran 4 sessions targeting different aspects of setting and running a Food Provision Project. Three were online, and one was in-person. All proved very successful and popular. Here you’ll find videos of the three online sessions, and a PDF of the slideshows and other related resources.

Session 1

Food Supply & Sustainability

This first session focused on ways to ensure a stable and resilient food supply, addressing current challenges while exploring nationwide best practices.

Session 2

Profit & Loss Analysis

Feeding Derbyshire, in partnership with Foundation Derbyshire, is committed to strengthening the community food sector across the county. To support this vital work, we delivered a series of workshops and webinars focused on sustainability, helping projects source food efficiently, manage finances, fundraise effectively, and build strong volunteer networks.

One of our key sessions, the Profit & Loss Analysis Webinar, provided essential guidance on managing and understanding financial statements. Attendees gained insights into budgeting tools, financial planning, and collaborative working to maximise impact and resource sharing.

You can now access all the resources, including the webinar recording and budgeting tools, to help your project thrive.

Raising Funds & Volunteer Recruitment

Feeding Derbyshire, in partnership with Foundation Derbyshire, delivered a workshop supporting the county’s community food sector to maintain vital services.

The session explored how projects could source food effectively, manage finances, secure diverse funding—from grants to local business partnerships—and attract, train, and retain volunteers. Participants discussed strategies for sustaining operations, fostering committed volunteer teams, and ensuring long-term project success. The event highlighted learning from peers and sharing best practices across the network.

A video recording and slideshow of the session are available below for those wishing to review the guidance and insights shared during the workshop.
